Giant Squids and Bigfoots

Cryptozoology and cryptids!  Fascinating!!

I must admit I am hooked on the tv show Finding Bigfoot.  I enjoy the BFRO boys and girl running around in the woods looking for a live Bigfoot.  

Are bigfoots real?  We don't know - that's the fun of it!

Okapis and giant squid used to be in the cryptid categories.  We now know they are real.

Research, field work, and sifting through historical records and cultural myths require time, energy and dedication.  The only way cryptid species are going to be validated or debunked is through those very tedious processes.

The yeti, Loch Ness Monster,  Bigfoot,  mermaids and other legendary creatures are all still on the cryptid lists - we just haven't found them yet or we don't have the evidence to prove they don't exist and that they aren't real.  

The platypus, okapis, and giant squids, through painstaking research have been proven real over the centuries.

I watched a tv show on the finding and documenting of the giant squid in July of 2012.  Wow what an adventure!!  

So hang in there Big Footers!!  One dark and dreary night your eyes will see and your cameras will catch an in-focus real live Big Foot!!

As an aside:  if you believe big foots exist where do you believe they came from?

My theory: 
They were a nomadic ancient existing ape species that crossed over the land bridge (just like the Native Americans did) and found themselves isolated and stranded from the land they came from.  They flourished in their new habitat just as elk, bear, wolves, and other wild animals did.  As an isolated species they have developed differences from other ape species throughout the world through their genetic makeup.

So since I believe God created all life the very simple explanation of their existence is that an ape species created by God has thrived in isolation in the Americas.

Some day they will come out of hiding long enough to be documented!
